Wilma Gegg Mcguire

STE. GENEVIEVE Wilma Eck Gegg McGuire, 82 years, of Ste Genevieve passed away April 25, 2018 at her home in Ste. Genevieve. She was born August 19, 1935, in Pilot Knob, MO to the late John Joseph and Irene Margaret (Kovachick) Eck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Gegg, a sister, Irene Eck and a sister in law, Nancy Eck.

Wilma was a caregiver and was very generous. She retired from farming on the family's property at the age of 80. Wilma was a member of St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church where she belonged to the Ladies Sodality. She was also a member of the Coffman Ladies Extension Club. She enjoyed bunco and quilting.

Survivors include her husband, Donald McGuire, children, Linda (Michael) Hagan, Jackie (Kevin Godwin) Smith, Bruce (Brenda) McGuire, Jennifer (Jon) Onesty and Richard McGuire, grandchildren, Matthew Gegg, Cole (Jenna) Smith, Jody (Rob) Hahn and Tanner May, great grandchildren, Oakley Jones, Quincy and Dean Smith and Noah Hahn, brothers, John Eck and Walter (Sharon) Eck, sister in law, Christine Henderson, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Visitation will resume from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning then going to St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 23504 State Rte. WW, Coffman, MO for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at St. Catherine of Alexandria Cemetery. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Parkinsons Disease Association or St. Catherine of Alexandria Church.
