William Roger "Ramjet" Marler, Sr.

William Roger Ramjet Marler, Sr. of Park Hills passed away on April 24, 2006 in Memphis, TN, at the age of 58 years. He was born on September 18, 1947, in Paragould, AR, the son of the Bobbie (Richardson) Foster and the late Willard Marler. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob Richardson and Vera Currnett. Mr. Marler loved being a member of the Pure Gospel Ministries Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing with his grandsons. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He touched many lives. He is survived by his wife, Janis (Nicks) Marler, his mother, Bobbie (Richardson) Foster of High Ridge, MO, son, William Rammey Marler, Jr. and wife, Ammie of Park Hills, daughter, Shelia (Marler) Bone and husband, Robert of Festus, brother, Kerry Marler of Maryland Heights, MO, sister, Sharron Karnes of Louisville, KY, three grandsons, Drew Marler, Colby and Wesley Bone and godson, Dakota Hood. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of cherished friends also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2006. Visitation will resume on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Ray Jarvis officiating. Burial will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
