FARMINGTON William "Bill" Lorn Yancey of Farmington passed away January 10, 2020 at ClaRu DeVille Nursing Center in Fredericktown at the age of 82. He was born May 4, 1937 in Womack, Missouri to the late James and Myrtle (Weatherington) Monroe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna (Williamson) Yancey and his siblings, Jean Montgomery, Rose Snell, and Monica Turner. Bill was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Fredericktown. He served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force and the United States Army during the Korean war. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Bill is survived by four children, grandchildren, siblings, Barbara Kennedy of Pottsboro, TX, Timothy Yancey of Pacific and Theodore Yancey of Farmington, nieces, nephews and many friends.
