FRENCH VILLAGE - William C. Jolly, of French Village, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 14, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born in Cora City, Illinois, on December 17, 1937, to Clyde C. and Louise (Childers) Jolly.
William was a cherished son, loving husband, revered father, and proud grandfather. He is survived by his loving sons, Michael Jolly and Tammy Peterson, and Samuel Singer; his cherished grandchildren, Kaylee Jolly, Jade Jolly, Aubrey Jolly, and Abigail Singer; his dear sister, Doris Snider; along with one nephew, and a host of nieces. William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Helen Jolly, and his parents.
William served his country with honor in the United States Air Force, dedicating several years of his life to protecting the freedoms we cherish. William had a distinguished career in aeronautics, where he dedicated many years to advancing the field. His expertise and passion for aviation contributed significantly to various projects within the industry.
In addition to his professional achievements, William was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time outdoors, and he was known as a jack of all trades, often sharing his skills and knowledge across a variety of interests and hobbies.
It is with immense love and fond memories that we bid farewell to William, whose kindness and wisdom will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
