William 'Bill' Joseph Crites

FARMINGTON William "Bill" Joseph Crites, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2023, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 80. Bill was born on July 2, 1942, in Farmington to the late Arthur and Edna (Williams) Crites. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Glenda (Burnia) Crites, his great grandson, Cason William Bauss, his twin brother, Robert Eugene Crites, his brother, Arthur Thomas Crites, and his sister, Wanda Beatrice Hafner. Bill is survived by his children, Lisa (Christopher) May of Farmington, Rodney (Shea) Crites of Tipton, OK, and Laurie (Gary Jr.) Daves of Pacific, his grandchildren, Jason (Amy) May, Lauren (Andrew) Kirkpatrick, Jennifer (Cody) Bauss, T.J. (Mariah) Tyler, Zachary Crites, Owen Crites, Allison Daves, Amanda Daves, and Aaron Daves, his great grandchildren, Elijah, A.J., Noah, Will, Zane, Emma, Jackson, Adalynn, Everleigh, Daxton, and Grayson, his sister, Margaret Hafner, numerous nieces and nephews, special close family friend, Ruthie Mosier, along with many other friends. Bill worked for Western Auto for over 30 years in sales and as a manager. He then went to work for Town and Country Grocers in Park Hills in management and retired after 15 years. He was a life member of the Mineral Area Gem and Mineral Society. He enjoyed fishing and rock collecting. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Cozean chapel with Pastor Rocky Good officiating. Interment to follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington.
