William 'Bill' David Rose

FARMINGTON William "Bill" D. Rose went to Heaven on February 23, 2021 at the age of 80. He was raised in Overland, MO by his mother, Eleanor and his grandparents. He had a son, Michael from a previous marriage, who passed away. On September 30, 1972, Bill married Diane Brown. Bill spent most of his life bartending or selling cars. His gift of gab served him well. While he worked at Harrah's Casino in Laughlin, NV, he was the beverage supervisor over the bars and he really enjoyed that. Wherever he worked, there was always a lot of fun accompanied by great stories. Bill loved riding motorcycles with his wife and buddies, Bob and Cheryl, all over the U.S. They made such great memories visiting new places. Bill retired and moved to Warsaw, MO where he became the wildlife's new best friend. He relished the fact that he could walk right up to his wild deer and turkeys to feed them. They would let him know if he was late with their food by staring at his window until they heard him coming. He was teased because he hated mowing the five acres, but he had a beautiful yard and the best mower. Later, he moved to Farmington, MO and enjoyed the last few years watching someone else mow. Bill lead a great life and it truly was one he could hang his hat on. The beautiful irony is that our loss is another's reunion. He is preceded in death by his parents and his only son, Michael. He leaves behind his wife Diane, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends. Bill's wishes are to be cremated and to have a celebration of life when we can all gather and hug again.
