FARMINGTON William "Bill" Arena of Farmington passed away, June 8, 2018 at his residence at the age of 44. He was born September 2, 1973, in St. Louis to the late Anontio and Juanita (Noll) Arena. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Arena.
Bill proudly served his country for 20 years as a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired after serving nine deployments, two shore duties doing tours in Afghanistan and Djibouti. Bill was awarded several global war of terrorism service medals along with many other medals during his military career. He was a member of the American Legion Post #416 of Farmington and the VFW Post #5896 of Farmington. He was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed tinkering on cars his entire life. He was a devoted family man and was a wonderful husband, father and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey (Willoughby) Arena, five children, James Arena, Paige Arena, Charles Arena, Brandon Arena, and Antonio Arena, siblings, Rex Arena, Robert Arena, Joe Arena, Chris Arena and Tina Gay, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
Friends may call on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon. Per Bill's wishes, he will then be cremated and be laid to rest at sea.
