Willard Bill Govro of Farmington passed away on November 18, 2007, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center at the age of 80 years. He was born on October 23, 1927, at Ste. Genevieve County, the son of the late Elmer and Bettie (Thomure) Govro. Mr. Govro was a farmer and a long-time member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. His favorite pastime was watching baseball. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara (Wiley) Govro, two daughters, Tina Buchanan and husband John of Farmington, and Pamela Link and husband Jim of Crystal City, three grandchildren, Jason Willard Buchanan and wife Amanda, Joshua David Buchanan and wife Abby, and Dana Nicole Link, three great-grandchildren, Logan, Bryce, and Hutson Buchanan, his twin brother, Wilfred Govro, and a brother, Francis Govro and wife Hilda all of Farmington, a sister, Lucy Korber of Meridan, Kansas, and very close friends, AJ Miller and wife Betty of Farmington. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, November 19, 2007 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the Cozean Chapel on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the St. Paul Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. with Pastor James King and Pastor David Oddi officiating. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
