Wauna Wind

Wauna Helen Wind of Farmington passed away on February 10, 2007 at Camelot Nursing Center at the age of 88 years. She was born on May 8, 1918 in Portland OR, to the late John and Willie Pearl (Ervin) Neff. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Frank Neff. Mrs. Wind was a member of the United Methodist Womens Organization. She was very active in her church activities. She was also an avid gardener. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Raymond Wind, a brother, Don Neff and wife Betty of Park Hills, two sisters, Mabel Gallagher and husband William of Sullivan, Betty Gardner and husband Harry of Grand Junction, CO. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Dr. Rick Broadway officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the Memorial United Methodist Church.
