Wanda P. Allen

FARMINGTON Wanda Pauline Allen, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest suddenly on March 14, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 74. She was born on September 15, 1947, in Belleview, Missouri to the late Leonard and Julie (Brockes) Copeland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dean Allen, her son, Kevin Allen, her siblings, Lillie (the late Vernon) Boxx, Cindy OShea, Phyllis Ayers, and Ronnie Copeland, her brothers in law, Ed Ubanoski and James H. Allison, and sisters in law, Sylvia (the late CD) Walker, and Kathleen (the late Hoyt) Vaughn. Wanda is survived by her children, Julie (Eric) Rising, Jesse Allen, and Jeremy (Sarah) Allen, her grandchildren, Bali Hoover, Jessica (Ryan) Miller, Alyssa Allen, Brandie (Kyle) Vernon, Savannah Allen, and Evan Allen, her great grandchildren, Jenna Miller, Trenton Miller, Makinley Nordman, and Pazley Nordman, her siblings, Anna (Bobby) May, Suzette (Sal) Mattina, Sherry Mauk, Joy Fowler, Larry Copeland, Terry Spiess, Donnie (Robin) Copeland, and Alex (Shelly) Sansevere her daughter in law, Donna Allen, sisters in law, Lisa Copeland, Irene Ubanoski, and Jean Allison and brothers in law, Ronnie Ayers, Shawn OShea, and Willis (Linda) Allen, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Wanda was a member of the Church of the Nazarene where she previously taught Sunday school. She enjoyed reading romance novels, watching Western movies, sewing, gardening, canning, bird watching and was an amazing cook. She enjoyed preparing meals for her entire family while celebrating during the holidays. She will be forever fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Canterberry officiating. Entombment to follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to Cozean Memorial Chapel to assist the family with Wandas final expenses.
