Wanda Lou Ferguson

FARMINGTON Wanda Lou Ferguson of Farmington, passed away into the arms of the Lord on August 12, 2021 at Community Manor at the age of 87. She was born July 13, 1934 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Nathan Denny and Stella (Barclay) Denny. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Langston and her 2nd husband, Bill Ferguson; brothers, Lee Denny, Jack Denny, Gene Denny and John Robert Denny; sisters, Marie Sims, Delpha Braddum and Rema Denny and a grandson, Douglas Teel. Wanda was a faithful member of Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Farmington. She was an avid reader of the Bible and loved music and singing. She was a wonderful "down home country cook" whos turkey and dressing was the best of the best. Wanda was a dedicated mother who loved her family and church family. Her family will fondly remember her for her kisses, her hugs and for being the best Mom in the world. Those who love and miss Wanda are her children, Deanna (Mrs. Terry) Robinson and Jeffrey (Karen) Langston, all of Farmington; five grandchildren, Wendy (Jeremy) White, Marcia (Tony) Luckett, Zach Duggan, Victor (Tashinajo) Teel and Calvin Langston; fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson; her siblings, Mary Pipkins, Jewell Kidd and Eva (Bruce) Worzel; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family also survive. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 beginning at 12 noon until the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Cozean Memorial Chapel with Rev. Nathaniel Molter officiating.
