Wanda "Lee" Spink Heflin

Wanda Arlene Lee Spink Heflin of Keysport, IL passed away Tuesday April 5, 2011, at St. Lukes Hospital in Chesterfield, at the age of 71 years. She was born November 18, 1939, in the Saline Township of Ste. Genevieve County, MO. She was the daughter of Bertha T. (Thomure) Williams Gastreich and the late David E. Williams. Lee worked as a bookkeeper for the Leukemia Society in St. Louis, and was also employed as a secretary for the J & J Steel Erectors in St. Louis for many years before retiring in 2004. In her spare time she enjoyed gaming at the casinos, collecting teddy bears, Elvis and Coca-Cola memorabilia. Lee will be missed by all those who knew and loved her which includes her husband, Dean Heflin of Keysport, IL, her mother, Bertha Gastreich of Farmington, a son, Kevin and wife Katrie Spink of Fenton, two brothers, John and wife Carol Williams of Festus and Gary and wife Barbara Williams of Hillsboro, a grandson, Nicholas Spink of Fenton, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 5 until 9 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel in Farmington, MO. Visitation will resume on Monday at 7 a.m. with a funeral service at 10 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
