Walter Elmer Miller Jr.

Walter Elmer Miller Jr. of Ste. Genevieve passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, at the age of 68 years. He was born on February 10, 1939, at Drake, MO, the son of the late Walter Elmer Miller Sr. and Harriet May (Finks) Miller. He was also preceded by a brother and an infant sister. Mr. Miller was a member of the Coffman Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School. Walter loved to read and study the bible. Before his retirement, he worked at Dillards Department Store for 40 years. He enjoyed nature, especially watching birds and caring for his sisters cats. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Harold Hill of Coffman, several nieces, nephews and his church family. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday with a funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wayne Leftridge officiating. Burial will follow at Mayberry Cemetery
