Virginia Key

Florence Virginia Key of Farmington passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2007, at Missouri Baptist Hospital at the age of 82 years. She was born on March 29, 1925, at St. Francois County, the daughter of the late Raymond and Maude (Huff) Wann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Key. Mrs. Key was a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington where she taught Sunday school and Bible school for many years. She was also a cook for the Farmington schools for a number of years. She is survived by a son, Richard Key and his significant other Brenda Johnson, of Dix, IL, a daughter, Sandy Wichman and husband Stephen, of Doe Run, three grandchildren, Charles Lewis, Adam Lewis, and Katelyn Warren, two step-grandchildren, Justin Wichman and Madalyn Wichman, and a brother, Raymond Wann of Tallahassee, FL. Virginia was loved by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and will be dearly missed. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2007. Visitation will resume at 7:30 a.m. on Monday. A funeral service will be held on Monday at the Cozean Chapel at 11 a.m. with the Dr. William Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
