Virginia Barron

Virginia May Barron, of Farmington, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009, at at the age of 83 years, 9 months, and 4 days. She was born October 20, 1925, at Mine La Motte, MO, daughter of the late Alonzo and Mabel (Barron) Barron. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin and Melvin Barron, one sister, Marian Key, one brother-in-law, Noah Key and a sister-in-law, Jane Barron. She was a member of Teamsters Local 600. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening and canning. She loved being in the outdoors. She was retired from the Gene Jansen Company where she was a Bookkeeper. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Hilda Barron of Park Hills, nieces, Tonja (Mrs. Jeffrey) Brown and their children, Gibson and Reed of High Ridge, MO; Karren (Mrs. Frank) Ganschinietz and their children, Tharyn and Bradley of Salem, MO; Kristi "Heidi" (Mrs. Michael) McKee and their children, Coy, Carter and Carson of Park Hills; Pamela Robroy; and Patricia (Mrs. David) Mulvaney and their children, Rebecca, Rachel and Brianne all of St. Louis, MO; special friends, Ken and Berniece Panchot; Erma Hopkins and Howard and Angie West. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Hospice Care, Inc. for their compassionate care and service to Virginia during her illness. Per Virginia's request there will be no visitation.
