Victoria Jean Johnson

DOE RUN Victoria "Vickie" Jean Johnson, of Doe Run passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 4, 2016 at her home at the age of 61. She was born in Farmington to the late Tom E. Morris and Earlene (Skaggs) Morris, who survives. In addition to her father, Vickie was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda "Amy" Connell.

Vickie attended school in Bismarck and she married the love of her life, Gary Johnson in 1972. Vickie was a stay at home mom and homemaker who enjoyed being "mama" in later years to her two grandkids. She was an accomplished artist whose paintings will be cherished by her family. Vickie loved to camp at the Black River. She also liked fishing, riding motorcycles and horseback riding. Vickie was a great cook who made many delicious family dinners. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who always put them first.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 44 years, Gary; her son, Adam Johnson of Irondale; her mother, Earlene Morris; two grandchildren, Jamie Phegley and Cody Connell; three great grandchildren, Alexandrea, Olivia and Lane; her brother, Bob Lincoln and family; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from noon to 1 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Rev. Fred Pritchett officiating.
