Vicky Marie Gallagher

FARMINGTON Vicky Marie (Wells) Gallagher of Farmington, passed away at Parkland Health Care on June 13, 2024, at the age of 65. She was born February 17, 1959, in St. Louis to the late Thomas Wells and Betty (Creedon) Wells. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Wells; a granddaughter, Angel Gallagher and Aunt, Maxine Page.

Vicky grew up in the Spanish Lake area of St. Louis. In the 1980s she moved to the Parkland area where she worked for Presbyterian Manor while raising her children. She was a member of the Presbyterian Manor staff for many years. At the age of 36 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis but was able to keep her wonderful spirit in the face of her challenges. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she took an active role in church activities and projects. Vicky was confident in her faith and was a prayer warrior. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts and was a superb baker. Her family will lovingly remember her selflessness, her continual care giving nature and her unconditional love for her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her three children, Chris (Sarah) Gallagher, Michael Gallagher and Samantha (Robert) Shoemaker; grandchildren, Zackary, Arianna, Jessica, Zoe, Maggie, Aubrey, Trenton, Connor and Kylin; siblings, Donald Wells, Bobby Wells and Cindy Wells; and special friend, Nancy Krekeler.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Cozean Memorial Chapel, beginning at 1 p.m. until the funeral at 3 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Constien officiating.
