FARMINGTON Vickie R. Hooss, of Farmington, passed away on January 12, 2021 at her residence at the age of 70. She was born on September 17, 1950 in Ironton, Missouri to the late Benny and Dixie (Coleman) Shoemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Hooss, her grandson, Jonah Hooss Huey, and her twin brothers, Ben and Denny Shoemaker. Vickie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gene Hooss, her daughters, Natasha Hooss Huey of Fredericktown and Natalie (and husband Shawn) Alli of Belleville, IL, four grandchildren, Autumn Geneva Huey, Makinna Alli, Michael Alli and Lillian Alli, her #1, Judy (and husband Darell) Johnson of Fredericktown, along with many other friends. Vickie was an intelligent and hard working woman of strong morals, values and upstanding integrity. She was spunky and she always let you know what she was thinking. Vickie was a great seamstress and enjoyed riding horses and four wheelers but mostly loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm Cozean Memorial Chapel with Pastor Alan Berry officiating. Interment to follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens. Masks are required if attending the visitation and/or service and please adhere to social distancing.
