Vernon John 'Louis' Rauch

FARMINGTON Vernon John "Louis" Rauch of Farmington passed away January 31, 2020 at his residence at the age of 89. He was born in Pevely, Missouri on February 23, 1930 to the late John and Mabelle Ann (Miller) Rauch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wives, Dolores "Lucy" (Hoffman) Rauch and Patsy Lou Rauch, his son, Vernon John Louis Rauch Jr., and his siblings, Mabelle Deller, Rose Marie Brown and Shirley Doty. Louis proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of the VFW Post 5896 of Farmington and the American Legion Post 416 of Farmington. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington where he sang in the church choir. He enjoyed going to the senior center and taking photographs. Louis will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Louis is surived by his wife of 14 years, Bonnie (Childs) Rauch of Farmington, two daughters, Nonie Underwood and Lisa Lane, several grandchildren and many friends. Per his request, Louis graciously gifted his body to St Louis University School of Medicine for scientific research. Private services will be held at a later date.
