Trudy Mae Gullett

Trudy Mae Gullet of Farmington passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012, at the age of 75. She was born on October 30, 1936, at Caraway, AR, daughter of the late Jesse and Ruth Woods. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gullet in 1985, three brothers, Jan, Terry and Ronnie Woods and one sister, Jessie Ahlmeyer. Trudy was raised in Arkansas and moved to the St. Louis area as a teenager. She was a hard worker who worked as a factory worker while raising two daughters. In 2002 Trudy retired and moved to Farmington to be closer to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Farmington Senior Center. She was an avid reader and liked doing all types of crafts. Trudy is survived by her daughters, Tammy Jones of Arnold and Sharon Moran of Farmington; two grandchildren, James Thomas Jones III of Arnold and Heather Moran of Farmington; three sisters, Donna, Gwen and Sonyi; two brothers, Welton and Tony; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving is Trudy's little four legged companion, her dog, Amy. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial on Wednesday, July 25 from 9:30 to the time of the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
