Thomas Edward "T.Tom" Brewer

FARMINGTON - Thomas Edward "T. Tom" Brewer of Farmington passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at his residence at the age of 77 years. He was born November 30, 1936 at Perryville son of the late William Thomas and Irma Lucille (Mayberry) Brewer. Tom was married to Evelyn Sue Duff on January 19, 1963 at Farmington. He retired in January 1999 from the Trimfoot Shoe Company after 39 years and four months on the job. In his spare time he enjoyed playing Bluegrass and Country music and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including his wife Evelyn "Susie" (Duff) Brewer of Farmington, a son William Thomas "Bill" Brewer II (& Bobbie Jo) of Eminence, two daughters, Irma Lee Dobey of Farmington and Ruth Ann (& Kevin) Young of Farmington, seven grandchildren, Josh Brewer of Farmington, Amanda Robinson of Hamilton, OH, Sandra Woods of Park Hills, Becky Young of Farmington, Jacob, Jackson, and Jordan Brewer all of Eminence, five great-grandchildren D.J & Gwen Robinson, Sereniti Young, Jeffrey Brewer and Xaviel Woods, two sisters Judith Stone of Ballwin and Madonna Witzel of O'Fallon, a very special aunt Shirley (Mayberry) Pope of Leadington as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Father James Dyer officiating. Interment will be in the Mayberry Cemetery at Avon. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
