Thomas E. Dalton

FARMINGTON Thomas E. Dalton of Farmington passed away on October 19, 2020 at his residence at the age of 71. He was born on November 4, 1948 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to the late Otto "O.T." Thomas Dalton Jr. and Wilma (French) Dalton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Kretschmer and his sister in law, Betty Lewellen. Thomas is survived by his wife of 49 years, Glenda (Taylor) Dalton, his children, TJ (Katherine) Dalton of Farmington and Michelle (Rob Rios) Dalton of Farmington, his grandchildren, Emma Taylor Childress, Lillian Grace Abel and Elizabeth Claire Abel, and many friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Preferred Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion. Thomas proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of the Odd Fellows of Farmington. He was an avid knife collector and enjoyed Civil War history. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. No formal services will be held per the family's request.
