Thelma Neoda Horn

FARMINGTON Thelma Neoda Horn, of Farmington, passed away September 3, 2018 at her home at the age of 91. She was born in St. Francois County on February 18, 1927 to the late Frank and Gertrude (Crawford) Chapman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Horn in 1995, all of her siblings and two step-sons. Thelma was a life long resident of the area and worked for a number of years at Mineral Area Hospital as a nurse aide. A dedicated and devoted mother, Thelma, raised ten children. She was always kind hearted and had a tender manner. She loved to cook, sew and tend to her flower gardens. Survivors include her children, Leroy Wood, Carl Wood, Sharon Chapman, Thelma Lunsford, Franklin Horn, Connie Horn, Janet Hobbs, Pamela Brewer, Charles Horn and Ronald Horn; a step son, Vernon Horn as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel.
