Tedjoereyleo Ybanez Lasmarias, Jr.

FARMINGTON, MO Tedjoereyleo Ybanez Lasmarias, Jr. of Farmington passed away January 26, 2022, at his home in Farmington at the age of 42. He was born January 27, 1979, in Dumaguete City, Philippines to the late Alexander Lasmarias Jr. and Bernardita Ybanez Lasmarias. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special aunt and "second mother", Priscilla Kelso. "Ted" grew up in the Philippines and graduated high school from Sacred Heart Academy where he was a member of the varsity basketball team. After high school, he attended Negros Oriental State where he played on the basketball team and received his Bachelors Degree in Business. In 2008, he came to the United States and lived in Desloge and later moved to Farmington. He was employed with SRG Global until going to work at the Bonne Terre prison where he was currently employed. Ted was a basketball fan and he also enjoyed collecting shoes. Sixteen years ago he married the love of his life, Cherryl Amistoso and they enjoyed traveling to the beach and spending time with their children. One of the highlights of Teds life was being a stay-at-home dad at various times in the past. He was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington. Survivors include his loving wife, Cherryl, their children, Jacob and Samantha Hope; a sister, Alexis Lasmarias and his cousins in Charlotte NC and Boston, MA. Visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 27, on Saturday, January 29 and Sunday, January 30 from 5 8 pm. Visitation will resume on Monday morning, January 31, 2022 from 7 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. There will be a funeral mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 10 a.m. with Father William Thess as Celebrant.
