Taya Pininah Smith

PARK HILLS - Taya Pininah Smith, of Park Hills passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2018 at her residence at the age of 42. She was born December 22, 1975 in Scott Air Force Base, Illinois to the late James Michael McCord and Cheryl (Hise) Romero. In addition to her birth father, she was preceded in death by her father, Robert Romero Jr. , her brother, Robert Romero III, her grandparents, OJ and Charlotte Hise and Robert and Elinor Romero, and aunts and uncles, Jimmy Romero, Richie Romero, Michael Romero, David Romero, Sharon Romero and Angel Romero. Taya previously worked as a CNA at Mineral Area Hospital. She enjoyed sports especially football and the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Survivors include her mother, Cheryl (Hines) Romero, her husband, Karl Smith, her children, Floyd Joseph Conrad Jr., Richard Andrew Conrad and Brandilyn Pininah Conrad, stepchildren, Michael Taylor, Dana Smith and Allen Smith, stepgrandchildren, Brooklyn Taylor and McKenzie Taylor, her sister, Jamie Hedrick, brother, Jeremy McCord, aunts and uncles, Richard and Anna Hise and Courtney and Matt Hayden, niece, Andrea (Dale) Leftridge, nephew, Alan Michael Romero, special dogs, Karma and Titan, many cousins and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Engler Park, 651 Vargo Road, Farmington, MO.
