Tamela "Tammy" Lee Short-Miller passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010, at the age of 49 years, 11 months, and 28 days as the result of an auto accident. She was born on August 30, 1960, at Farmington, daughter of Jerry R. and Sharon L. (Hunting) Pigg. Tammy was employed as a Patient Care Technician at Des Peres Hospital where she had worked for the past 13 years. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time and taking care of her many pets. Tammy will be loved and missed by all those who knew her which includes her parents, Jerry R. and Sharon L. Pigg of Farmington, daughter, Cyndy M. (Short) Bechtold and husband Dave of Knob Lick, son, Adam Robert Short of Farmington, granddaughter, Cheyenne Bechtold, grandson, Gavin Bechtold, a brother, Jeff Pigg and wife Melissa of Farmington, nephews, Casey, Corey and Alec Pigg, nieces, Melina and Bella Pigg all of Farmington, a sister, Dana (Pigg) Luther and husband Mark of Farmington, nephews, Kyle Luther of Desloge, Brandon and Garrett Luther of Farmington, and a great-nephew, Tristin Luther of Farmington. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday August 31, 2010. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon at the Cozean Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Donn Adamson officiating. Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Tammy Lee Short-Miller Memorial Fund.
