Tamara Smith

FARMINGTON - Tamara Cunetto Smith ("Tami") was born on January 30, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri to her loving parents, Joseph Cunetto and Marian Cunetto (Zeiss), both of whom preceded her in death. Tami grew up in Crestwood with her older sister Linda and brother Kenny. She attended John F. Kennedy High School, where in the fall of 1973 she was asked out to the homecoming dance by a shy but disarmingly funny varsity football player, Richard Smith ("Rick"). She and Rick have been going out ever since, sharing 48 years of love and adventure. On August 3rd of this year, they celebrated 42 years of marriage. Tami loved Rick until her very last breath. A multi-hyphenate in the truest sense of the word, Tamis various roles throughout the years included banker, entrepreneur, strength trainer, party planner, counselor, dog mom extraordinaire, and morebut nothing made her prouder than being "Mom" to Alexander and Abigail and "GaGa" to Wyatt. Selflessly caring for othershumans and animalswas core to Tamis DNA. She was a mother figure and source of unconditional love, encouragement, and well-timed sarcasm to countless family members and friends. The outsized impact she had on any being lucky enough to have been loved by her is her greatest legacy. Tami will be especially missed by her husband, Rick; her son, Alex Smith; her daughter, Abigail Jackson Smith; her daughter-in-law Brittany Smith; her grandson Wyatt Smith; her mother-in-law, Mary Ogden; her three dogs, Bruiser, Beau, and Haley and her cat, Scout; her sister, Linda Mueller (Paul Mueller); her nephew, Scott Mueller (Lisa Mueller); her great-nephew, Jack Mueller; her great-niece, Alexandria Mueller; her niece, Tami Chambers (Aaron Chambers); her great-niece, Nevaeh Chambers; her great-nephew, Noah Chambers; her nephew, Justin Teliszewski (Kylie Teliszewski); her great-nephew, Logan Teliszewski; her great-niece, Ella Teliszewski; her nephew, Michael Teliszewski; her brother, Kenny Cunetto; her niece, Colleen Psara (Spiro Psara); her great-nieces Litsa and Eleni Psara; her niece, Courtney Cunetto; her nephew, Joseph Cunetto; her niece, Becci Rhyneer; and countless other family members, loved ones, and friends.
