Susan 'Sue' Rae Ceasar

FARMINGTON Sue Ceasar, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on September 24, 2021, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 73. She was born on June 1, 1948, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Raymond and Hazel McCarrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert McCarrick, her sister, Mary Lou Nye, and her brother-in-law, Lou Paradis. Sue is survived by her daughters, Anne (Richard) Barber of Farmington, MO and Aaran Ceasar of Philadelphia, PA, her grandchildren, Tyler and Owen, her former spouse and friend, Kenneth Ceasar of Del Rio, TX, her sisters, Joan (Phil) Gruber and Roseleah Paradis, her sister-in-law, Maggie McCarrick, her brother-in-law, Chris Nye, her special dog, Cash, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Sue was a fantastic cook and always enjoyed cooking for people. While living in Michigan, she cooked at the 4H camp and the childrens church camp. She played drums in the high school band and later in the church band. She was a member of the Open Heart Assembly Church in Farmington. She also volunteered at the Farmington Senior Citizen Center. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and fishing. She will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 10:00am until time of service at 12:00pm at Cozean Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Kevin Davis. Per the familys request, masks are required if attending the visitation and/or service.
