Susan Madden

FARMINGTON - Susan Emma "Susie" Madden of Farmington passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at St. Francois Manor at the age of 76 years. She was born May 9, 1936 at Glover, daughter of the late Sherman Edward and Dora Irene (Whited) Fox. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Robert Madden, son Robert Sherman Madden and brother Vernon Wesley Fox. Susie was a proud homemaker, wife, and mother. She was a longtime member of the Upper Glover Baptist Church. She was an enthusiastic animal lover, and particularly enjoyed caring for her cats. She also enjoyed singing and listening to Gospel Music in her spare time. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her including her son William Madden and wife Bridgett of Bismarck, a sister Loretta Peck of Bismarck, seven grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Friends may call on Friday August 16, 2013 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning after 8 a.m. and until the time of the service at 10 a.m. with Chaplain Steven Stillman officiating. Interment will be in the Huff Cemetery at Glover. Memorials may be made to the Farmington Pet Adoption Center. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
