Summer Paige Nausley

July 7, 2004 — October 28, 2011

Summer Paige Nausley of Farmington passed away on October 28, 2011, at St. Louis Children's Hospital at the age of seven years. She was born July 7, 2004, in Farmington, to Charles Joseph "Joey" and Christine Marie (O'Sullivan) Nausley who survive. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Henry Nausley in 2008. Summer was a second grade student at Jefferson Elementary in Farmington where she will be most remembered for being a happy-go-lucky child who charmed everyone she met. Pink was her very most favorite color and everyone knew it. She was a Brownie Scout and had been in FCAC Gymnastics for four years. She was excited about starting basketball at the Farmington Civic Center. She loved reading, singing and playing games. Her favorite group was "Big Time Rush" which she got the opportunity to see in person at Six Flags this past summer. Summer loved the Christmas season so much that she sang carols year-round. She was her parents' and her grandparents' pride and joy and she loved spending time with them. Survivors in addition to her parents include her grandparents, John and Debra O'Sullivan of Farmington and Pat Nausley of Park Hills; an aunt, Dawn Nausley; an uncle, Dooley Nausley; a special cousin, Nathan Nausley; a special great-uncle, Joe Thomas of St. Louis and last but not least, her beloved dog "Twinkie". Also surviving are many good friends and special teachers. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 4. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning from 7 a.m. until the beginning of the service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
