Steven Hacker

STE. GENEVIEVE COUNTY Steven Phillip Hacker, 69, passed away April 1, 2017 at his residence in Ste. Genevieve County. He was born on February 27, 1948 at Poplar Bluff son of the late Edward Weston and Lena Lorene (Gilmer) Hacker.

Mr. Hacker proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Prior to retirement Steve made his living as a mechanic's assistant.

He is survived by a brother Douglas Hacker of Fenton, numerous cousins, and a multitude of dear friends and neighbors.

No formal services were held. Interment was in the Chestnut Ridge Cemetery under the direction of the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Military Honors and a Service of Remembrance are being planned for a later date. View online obituary at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
