FARMINGTON Stanley Ray "Stan" Ketcherside, 55, of Farmington, passed away on March 26, 2021 at Evelyns House in Creve Coeur, Missouri. He was born on April 2, 1965 in Madison County, Missouri to Paul Ketcherside and Betty (Durbin) Ketcherside, who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Paul Ketcherside, Jr, and Kevin "Ketch" Ketcherside. Stan was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed the great outdoors and pursuing the many activities on his farm. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He enjoyed traveling, the ocean, and he loved taking his boat on the lake. Stan was a sports fan of football, Cardinals baseball, and especially Farmington High School Wresting and Collegiate wrestling. In his high school years, he was an outstanding athlete and excelled in football, wrestling and track. Stan was a talented cook and he loved to grill he was a "foodie". He also enjoyed playing music with his son, Stanton. Stan was a talented and extremely hard working individual who spent his career in the field of construction with a focus on cement masonry. He used those talents to renovate and build his home together with his wife Julie. Stan was loved by all that knew him. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. Stan is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Julie (Ratcliff) Ketcherside, and his beloved son, Stanton Ketcherside of Farmington. His sisters Pamela (Ketcherside) Parker and Barbara (Mitch) Ketcherside-Mowery of Farmington. His nephew Greg (Samantha) Ketcherside of Farmington and his uncle Charlie Durbin of Dupot, IL. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, extended family members and dear friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5-8 pm. Visitation will resume Friday, April 2, 2021 beginning at 7 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. There will be a Celebration of Life Reception at Twin Oaks Winery following the funeral service from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m..
