Shirley Jean Woods Boyd

Shirley Jean Woods Boyd of Farmington passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2006, at home at the age of 71 years. She was born on January 12, 1935, in Flat River, the daughter of the late Herbert and Goldie Hester (Wooldridge) Woods. She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Boyd, four sons, Clyde Merryman Jr., Barry and wife Cathy, Kevin, and Stephen OSullivan, all of Farmington, step-children, Brian Boyd of Farmington and Jamie Boyd Brinkman and husband, Daniel of Franklin, TN, granddaughter, Krislyn Jean OSullivan, step-grandchildren, McKinley, Abbie and Kami Boyd; Jade, Myra, Savanah, Olivia, Sarah and Emily Brinkman; and step-great-grandchildren, Ethan and Isabell Boyd, and three brothers, Robert, William, and James Woods. Numerous friends and other relatives also survive. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2006. Visitation will resume at 11 a.m. on Sunday. A funeral service will be held at the Cozean Chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Dr. William Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
