Shirley Hall

FARMINGTON - Shirley Jean Hall of Farmington passed away October 5, 2018 at her residence at the age of 69. She was born July 22, 1949 in Farmington to the late Buford DeGrant and Francis (Nash) DeGrant Wampler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Willa Mae Gore, Connie Gore and Marsha Shoemake. Shirley previously worked as an adult caregiver at P.A.T.H. and was also certified as a truck driver. She enjoyed yard sales, word puzzles, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, the ocean, the beach and was an excellent fisherman. She was a conservative Republican and loved holidays with her family especially Thanksgiving. Shirley worked tirelessly and often held many jobs as a single parent to provide for her children. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children, Angela Shannon, Patrick Shannon, Jason Shannon and Sean Shannon, seven grandchildren, Dominic LaBruyere, Casey Shannon, Korean Shannon, Kile Shannon, Jason Shannon, Joshua Shannon and Caden Shannon, her sister, Becky (& husband Paul) Young, her brother, Randall (& wife Janet) DeGrant and many friends. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials, if desired, may be made to Cozean Memorial Chapel to assist with funeral expenses.
