FARMINGTON – Shirley Ann Moore, of Festus, formerly of Farmington, entered eternal rest on November 23, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson at the age of 83. She was born on August 5, 1941, in Desloge, Missouri to the late Henry Jesse Maples and Audrey Jean (Glover) Light.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Carl Torrence of St. Louis and Billy Clinton and his wife, Marty of Bonne Terre, her grandchildren, Craig Logan, Steven Logan, Kevin Logan, Stephen Clinton, Andy Clinton, and Brittany Clinton, numerous great grandchildren, her brother, Ronnie Maples and his wife, Gloria, many nieces, nephews, friends, and her special canine companion, JoJo.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Logan, her brother, Roger Maples, and her sister, Sue Anderson.
Shirley formerly worked in the recreation department at the Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center. She enjoyed country line dancing, painting, knitting, crocheting, shopping, and flower gardening. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel.
