Sherra Deeann Jenkins

FARMINGTON Sherra DeeAnn Jenkins, of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on August 3, 2022, at Parkland Health Center at the age of 79. She was born on May 14, 1943, in St. Louis to the late John Maxwell Hill and Ruby (Barnes) Horn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hearl Gene Jenkins, her sons, Jimmie Jenkins and Gary Jenkins, her great granddaughter, Micha Breann Harris, her great grandson, Damian Voss, and her sister-in-law, Elena Horn. Sherra is survived by her children, Michael Jenkins, Becky Nash, Larry (Jennifer) Jenkins, and Sherry (Moustafa) El Hawari, twenty grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, her brothers, Lester Horn and George (Karen) Horn, a niece and several nephews, her former daughter-in-law, Teresa Spaits, many friends, and her special feline companions, Cinnamon, Little Bit, and Elvis. Sherra enjoyed shopping and gambling. She was a very talented cake decorator and a wonderful baker. She was a big fan of Elvis Presley. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor David Parmley.
