Shawn Dalene Williams

MINERAL POINT Shawn Dalene Williams, of Mineral Point, entered eternal rest on February 8, 2024, at her home at the age of 56. She was born on February 28, 1967, in Hudson, Michigan, to William Harold and Juanita (Poling) White. Shawn is survived by her mother, Juanita (Poling) White of Crowley Ridge, her children, William White of Mineral Point, Kyle (Angelica) Williams of Barnhart, and Annie Williams of Olathe, KS, her grandchildren, Oliver James Nichelson and Dorothy Grace Williams, her significant other, Michael Eades of Mineral Point, her sister, Billie Jo Hoyer of Poplar Bluff, many other family members, friends and a host of special pets. Shawn was preceded in death by her father, William Harold White and her sister, Deonna White. Shawn worked as an assembly worker for Ford Motor Company. She was an animal lover who enjoyed Westerns, shopping, antiques, gardening, poetry, English literature, and novels. She also loved music and played the saxophone in her younger years. She was a collector of many things and was very meticulous about her house being well kept and cleaned. Shawn was a very caring and generous person. She often cooked and prepared food for the King Solomon Lodge in Affton. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at New Diggins Cemetery in Potosi.
