Sharon "Pat" Finley

Sharon Patricia Finley passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014, in Cape Girardeau, at the age of 75 years. She was born on July 20, 1938, at Flat River, daughter of the late Jesse Willard Robinson and Beatrice Clara (Marion) Robinson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Leonard Finley in 2006. Pat grew up in Esther and graduated from high school there in 1956. She was employed by Wettereau Grocery Supply in Desloge and Scott City. While working in Scott City she lived in Cape Girardeau and then returned to Farmington when she married Leonard Finley. She had been a life long member of the Nazarene Church and more recently she enjoyed being a member of a bible study group in Park Hills. An avid reader, Pat loved shopping and attending Cardinal games with her nephew. The family wishes to thank Dr. Stanley Sides, of Cape Girardeau, her oncologist, for his care over the past 30 years. Survivors include her sister, Judy (Herb) Caldwell of Blue Springs, MO; nephews, Tom Caldwell of St. Louis, Bob Kembel of Oak Ridge, MO, and Mike Kembel of Cincinnati, OH; very special friends, Bud and Linda Willis of Farmington; and a host of cousins and many good friends. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Monday, January 13 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
