Sharon K. Biri

BONNE TERRE- Sharon Kay Biri age 73, of Bonne Terre, Missouri, graduated into heaven on December 2, 2022, at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on August 29th 1949, in Ironton, Missouri, to the late Henry Carl Szasz and Betty Jean (Devine) Szasz. She is preceded in death by her brother John Neal Szasz and grandson Ryan Matthew Linn Thomas. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Darrell Linn Biri of Bonne Terre, Missouri; her children, Kaylin (David) Biri of Navarre, Florida, Darrell Dean (Jennifer) Biri of Springfield, Missouri, and Sharon Linnae Thomas of Desloge, Missouri; her grandchildren, Marcus (Nicole) Biri, Megan Biri (Jay Elking Fianc), Tyler Biri, Cole Biri, Kaytlin Biri, Landon Thomas and Calleigh Hurst Thomas; sisters Carla Szasz, Grace (David) Counts and Robin Bauer; many nieces and nephews along with the numerous unofficially adopted people who called her Mom and Grandma. Sharon retired after 38 years of service as Director of Blood Banking and Evening Supervisor at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing cards, doing puzzles, traveling, trout fishing, and keeping Darrell in line. She will be fondly remembered for her servant heart, selfless loving spirit and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation services will be held Tuesday, December 6th from 4pm-8pm at 1st Free Will Baptist Church 300 Emerson Street, Park Hills, Missouri, 63601 with Funeral Services to be held on Wednesday, December 7th 1pm at the 1st Free Will Baptist Church, 300 Emerson Street, Park Hills, Missouri, 63601 with burial service immediately following at Pine Log Baptist Church, 26399 Avon Rd.
