Sharon Elaine Koenig

FARMINGTON - Sharon Elaine Koenig, of Farmington passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Camelot nursing & Rehab Center at the age of 66 years. She was born August 16, 1947 at Ironton daughter of the late Michael and Agnes (Francis) Graham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, and a son Douglas Paul Koenig. Sharon was retired from the Southeast Mental Health Center, where she had been employed in the Accounting Office as a Resource Investigator. She also worked for many years as a Department Manager at Country Mart in Farmington. She was a member of the Covenant Bible Church of Farmington. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, teaching her grandchildren to cook, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family, including her husband Paul Koenig of Farmington, daughter Pamela Polaski of Farmington, son Joshua Koenig of Farmington, grandchildren Lilly Polaski, Elissa Koenig, Shelby Koenig, Colvin Koenig and Abbigail Koenig, and numerous other relatives and dear friends. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Marco van Raalten officiating. There will be no interment service.
