Sandrah Kay Patterson

MARQUAND - Sandrah Patterson, of Marquand, passed away on December 1, 2022 at the age of 61. She was born in Anna, Illinois on June 6, 1961 to the late James A. Heiens and Lucille (Burton) Heiens. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Melissa Heiens in 2009 and her significant other, Dale Dewayne Davis. She was a 1977 graduate of Fredericktown High School. She then went to College Station in Bryan, Texas where she studied nursing. She graduated with an associates degree. She was a licensed practical nurse and worked in that field for many years. Later she attended Mineral Area College where she majored in Horticulture. She enjoyed gardening which was a hobby as well as a passion. Her family will also remember her as a talented artist as well. Survivors include her daughters, Sarah Ann Patterson Lovig and Vanessa Lynn Mills; grandchildren, Ezekiel Wayne Pruett, Iselia Omie Lorenz, Winry Jane Lovig, Dominyck Alene Sherman and Sebastian David Mills; her siblings, Robert Teller, Christine Elizabeth Cooper, Mary Evelyn Conner, Ruth Ann Randall, Steve Heiens, Deborah Guinn and James "Jimbo" Heiens and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
