Sandra Lynn Thome

FARMINGTON Sandra Lynn "Sandi" Thome, of Farmington passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at the age of 46. She was born in San Jose, California on February 8, 1972 to the late Charles Michielsen and Bobby Melton, who survives.

Sandi grew up in Calfornia where she graduated from James Lick High School in San Jose in 1990. She went on to attend art school after graduation. In 2010 she relocated to Farmington where she continued to enjoy her hobby of painting and sketching. Sandi also was an avid gardener and had recently gotten into the trend of painting and hiding rocks.

Survivors include her husband, Greg Thome; her children, Cassandra Black and Austin Black; her mother, Bobby Melton and her brother, Chris Micheilsen. Also surviving are a host of extended family and good friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 5 8 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. Visitation will resume Wednesday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel with Father Rickey Valleroy officiating. Interment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery, Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Vincent De Paul or the Alliance for the Mentally Ill.
