FARMINGTON - Sandra Lee (Clark) Blum peacefully took her last breath on Saturday, April 6, 2024, surrounded by her family at the age of 69 years. Sandra was born in Barnes Ridge, Missouri on April 11, 1954, to Jessie Carl Clark, and Betty Jewell (Roberts) Clark, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her sister, Betty (Clark) Smith; brothers-in-law, Bruce Sipp, Roger Marler and Charles Smith; and nephews, Nathaniel Sipp and Hayden Sipp. Sandra grew up with a loving family in Southeast Missouri. She graduated from North County High School in 1972. On April 7, 1973, she married the love of her life, Donald Charles Blum, Jr. and became sealed as an eternal family in the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in November of 1977. Sandra is survived by her soul mate and husband, Donald Charles Blum, Jr.; her sons, Donald Charles Blum, III and wife, Jennifer (Cleve) Blum, and Aaron Clark Blum and wife, Sarah (Kelly) Blum; and daughter, Jordan Celia (Blum) Lawson and her husband, Samuel Lawson; grandchildren and loves of her life, Campbell Blum, Kendall Blum, Eden Gollaher and Eli Wardlow; sisters, Janice (Clark) Marler and Linda (Clark) Sipp; brother Danny Carl Clark and wife, Debbie; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and many friends, including special friends, Shirley Blackwell and Ruth Ann Mendenhall. She also leaves behind her two favorite cats, Molly and Tag. Sandra was an expert in the 60s/70s rock. She also loved hosting holidays and decorating her house for every holiday, making it feel warm and welcome. Sandra took pride in making the best Valentine gifts, Easter baskets, Christmas gifts and life size stockings. Sandra loved spending time in her garden and caring for her flowers. She had a quiet, witty, yet clever sense of humor. Hearing her laugh was the greatest reward for telling a funny story. Sandra loved everyone she met equally. Her kind spirit and ability to listen made you instantly feel important and loved. Sandra made everyone feel comfortable and safe, no matter who they were or what the situation was. Sandra loved big and that love continues on. Her family was everything to her. She was so proud of the life she built with her husband, kids, and grandkids. Visitation will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at 709 Henry Street, Farmington, Missouri 63640 on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
