Sandra Jean Wojtkunski

ANNAPOLIS Sandra Jean Wojtkunski of Annapolis passed into her heavenly home on December 2, 2023 at her home at the age of 81. She was born in St. Louis on July 15, 1942, to the late Harry Schillinger and Jeannette (Hartman) Schillinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jacob Werths and Jonathan Powell. Growing up in St. Louis, Sandra attended school at Bishop DuBourg School. She went on to Missouri Baptist School of Nursing where she received a degree in nursing. She worked as the nurse manager in labor and delivery at Missouri Baptist Hospital for seventeen years. After her retirement Sandra enjoyed crafting projects, traveling with her husband, and frequent trips to Door County, Wisconsin. In the 1960s and 70s, Sandra was involved in Scouting and was the Girl Scouts Regional Director for greater St. Louis. Sandras family will lovingly remember her as a fiery, redheaded German lady with a strong will. Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years, William Wayne Wojtkunski; three daughters, Sharon (Mark) Walls, Pamela (Jeff) Petzoldt and Laurie Powell; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Jordan, Arthur and Daniel; four great grandchildren; and two half-brothers, Pat and Terry McEnnis.
