Sandra Jean Bayless

FARMINGTON - Sandra Jean Bayless of Farmington passed away June 16 2015 at Parkland Hospital at the age of 55. She was born March 18, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Floyd and Verna Grace (Barks) Bayless. In addition to her parents Sandra was preceded in death by a brother, David Eugene Bayless and a nephew, Douglas Andreat. Sandy was a complete joy to her family and anyone who ever met her. She had been especially close to her mother and father. Music was special to her and she totally enjoyed singing and dancing. Because of her loving spirit, she would have made a great nurse which was her greatest aspiration. Her favorite pastime was watching her favorite television shows. Going out to eat was one of her pleasures in life, especially going for a chocolate ice cream cone. In addition to eating out another one of her pleasures was shopping. Sandy's passing will leave a large void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her sisters, Beverly, Peggy, Nancy and Cheri and brother, Tom; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are many good friends. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the following special people, Sandy's sister-in-law, Sharon Bayless and her entire family for their never ending care and compassion and special thanks to Dr. Stephen Forsythe for the devoted care and love that he showed for Sandy throughout the years. Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 19, 2015 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday morning beginning at 7 a.m. until the service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will be held at Knob Lick Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials, if desired, may be made to the MCII (Farmington Sheltered Workshop).
