Ruth Lachance

FREDERICKTOWN- Madonna Ruth LaChance of Fredericktown passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Stockhoff Nursing Center in Fredericktown at the age of 78 years. She was born August 6, 1935 at Knob Lick, daughter of the late Lloyd and Bessie (Kinney) Russell. Ruth was a member of the Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown and a proud and capable homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Darrell B. LaChance, two children Mark (& Cheryl ) LaChance and Terri (& Terry) Ferguson; six grandchildren, Jennifer (& Chuck) Penuel, Jill (&Michael) Bender, Drew (& Reanna) LaChance, Jarid (& Andrea) LaChance, Jessica (& Matt) Burgess, and Tori LaChance; nine great-grandchildren, a brother Lloyd "Bud" Russell, Jr, and numerous other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday morning beginning at 7 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will be at the St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. memorials, if desired may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
