Ruth "Jeanette" Jaco

KNOB LICK - Ruth Jeanette Jaco of Knob Lick passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at her residence at the age of 70 years. She was born on October 25, 1945 in St. Louis, daughter of the late Elmer Fred and Helen Audrey (Davis) Landgraf. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond William Jaco in 2004 and a dear niece Kimberley Bridgers in 2014. Jeanette was married to Raymond at Belleville, Illinois. The couple made their home over the years in St. Louis, Potosi, Doe Run, Bismarck and following Raymond's death Jeanette moved to Knob Lick to be closer to her family. She was a proud homemaker taking great pride in caring for her family. She was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Tyro Chapter 321 Caledonia and Grand Chapter 394 Belgrade. She is survived by her daughter Tammy (& Fritz) Thomure of Knob Lick, grandchildren Dakota Ray Thomure of Farmington and Rebecca Nicole Thomure of Farmington, a brother Stanley Gaska of Knob Lick, two dear nieces and three nephews, and many friends and neighbors. Friends may call at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday morning from 7 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10 a.m. in the Cozean Chapel. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery. The family has suggested that memorials, if desired, be made to either Shriner's Children's Hospital or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
