Ruth Adele Nussbaum

DESLOGE - Ruth Adele Lindsay Nussbaum, of Desloge, passed away February 18, 2016 at NHC Health Care at the age of 90. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 13, 1925 to the late Ira and Hazel (Menard) Spurgeon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Littleton Lindsay in 1972; five sisters and two brothers.

Ruth's favorite thing was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed watching Reverend Joel Osteen on television. She will be missed by her three children, Gayle (James) Woods, Valerie (Rocker Votrain) Lindsay and Stanley L. Lindsay; four grandchildren, Tony Stotts, Scott Lenox, Tracy Moser and Jim Hunter; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call on Wednesday, February 24 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. in the Cozean Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at Arcadia Masonic Cemetery at a later date. View the online obituary and share your condolences at cozeanfuneralhome.com.
