Russell Todd Townsend

FARMINGTON - Russell Todd Townsend of Farmington, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the age of 47 years. He was born December 15, 1965 in Santa Clara, California the son of Fay Lee (Rickus)and the late Russell Lee Townsend. Russell was a long-time member of the Parkland Chapel of Farmington. Before becoming unable to work he was employed as a customer service representative at Wal-Mart in Desloge. He is survived by his mother, Fay Lee (Rickus) Townsend of Farmington, daughter Beverly Ann Townsend of Los Angeles, California, sister Shonna (Townsend) Adams and husband Lonnie of Farmington, brother Rebel Townsend and wife Elma of Olivehurst, California, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Cozean Chapel with Pastor Mike Harrison officiating. Interment will be in the Copenhagen Cemetery at Farmington. Memorials if desired may be made to either the American Cancer Society or Serenity Hospice Care. Arrangements are under the direction of the Cozean Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
