Russell 'Butch' Mitchell

FARMINGTON Russell "Butch" Mitchell of Farmington passed away on August 18, 2020 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 61. He was born on Febuary 28, 1959 in Camden, New Jersey. Butch had a heart of pure gold and was loved by everyone who met him. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and bowling but was also known to make a "mean steak". It didn't matter if Butch knew you or not, he would still go out of his way to help and would give you the shirt off his back, which was most likely a Hawaiian shirt. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his father, Wesley Dillinger, his soulmate, Lori Rhodes, four children, Amanda (Tommy "Louie") Hughes, Russell Mitchell, IV, Nydia (Shawn) McNulty and Allenia Rhodes, Nine grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his beloved dogs, Charlie and Dixie. Also surviving are numerous friends and extended family. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. At Cozean Memorial Chapel.
